A whole new take on capo design that works beautifully.
The G7th Classical Performance Guitar Capo is designed for enhanced performance specifically for nylon string classical guitars, and it's simple to use. Not only that, it looks and feels great! Push the lever to release the arms. The G7th Capo fits snugly behind the fret. Squeeze to tighten it from above or below. Simply press the lever to release the capo.
The wrap spring clutch consists of just 3 elements: a fixed hub, a moving hub, and a spring whose inside diameter is just slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the 2 hubs. When the spring is forced over the 2 hubs, attempting to rotate in the direction which opens the capo wraps it down tightly on the hubs, positively engaging them.
Rotation in the other direction, to tighten the G7th Capo onto the strings, is not restricted. To release the capo, the control tang is moved in the direction to unwind the spring, thus releasing the clutch.
The beauty of this type of clutch for use in a guitar capo is that it can be adjusted in tiny increments. The clutch mechanism is a modified tried-and-tested design used in printers and copiers to provide a simple decoupling and overrun device.

First, a WARNING: Be careful if you clip it to your headstock when not using it!!!
I clipped it, GENTLY, to the headstock of my Gibson SG a few times. My beloved SG now has many indentations all over the top because of this capo. Those beautiful headstock curves that let you know you payed too much for the Gibson are now marred.
That aside, this is a great capo and worth the high price. Works up to about the 9th or 10th fret on most of my acoustics (Guilds, Takamines, and Fenders) and maybe a few frets higher on the electrics (Fenders and Gibsons), so be sure to try it out if you're wanting to capo at the 12th. Matte silver finish looks good. The rubber looks and feels like it won't wear out. The spring mechanism inside works perfectly, but feels like it'll only get a few years worth of work (which is still pretty good for a capo, but for this price I would want a lifetime). Pretty easy to use one handed after a few minutes with it. Also works well if you only want to capo 3 or more strings and leave the others open (using it on 2 strings only worked on one of my guitars).
Overall, best capo I've used and worth the price.

Its almost perfect, if it didnt make noise when takng it off and it it worked on the classical guitar, if you dont play classical dont worry about it.
This capo should last generations. Its easy and quick, if you are new to capo's, want a durable capo i suggest you buy this. I have droped this thing, pulled at it, and it still worked fine. The only thing I havent done is get this thing wet or get it really dirty (i never clean this thing).
If you wan this for a acoustic or electric buy it, if you want it for a classical guitar look else where.
It will last long.
If you take it off the guitar it will snap back making the strings vibrate, it wont dammage your guitar though nr the product
The price is steep but you wont complain after you use it.

I have used many kinds of capos.....everything from the frustrating swinging bar clamps to the cheap elastic ones that can flip off and hit the drummer. The G 7th. is simply the best. It is quick and tight. Nothing out there that I've used compares to it.....and no...I don't own stock in the company.

Bought TWO by mistake but the thing is so very good I decided to keep both. It made my acoustic guitar sound so much better, and I could not find a word for it. The word was on the package. Intonation. I could honestly hear the difference between it and my ten dollar capos. I swapped back and forth to confirm it. It is a sweet piece of work and the aircraft machining grade metal work and polish, is beautiful. EASY to use! Well done. It is pricey, but if you like to use a capo, buy at least one.
