Long-lasting strings from a tradition of innovation.
Black nylon trebles and coated silver Genius basses. The traditional sound of the Spanish guitars and the feeling and balance of the newest strings.
The Galli Musical Strings Company was established by Tommaso Galli in 1890. At that time musical strings were handcrafted using gut. In 1950 Roberto Galli, Tommaso's son, joined the firm. Roberto inherited the talent of his father and in time became like his father a great expert, a maestro, in the art of musical string making. In the 1970s Galli Strings introduced new technologically advanced equipment into their production process.
Roberto Galli's son, Tommaso, joined the company in 1985. Building on his grandfather's and father's musical and technical achievements, Tommaso Galli has extended into the twenty-first century the Galli tradition of developing and manufacturing fine musical strings.

Comments about Galli Strings GR90 GENIUS CARBONIO Nylon Coated Silverplated Hard Tension Classical Acoustic Guitar Strings:
This is the first Galli Carbonio nylon set I've tried. Very pleased so far. The treble strings have bright and bell-like harmonics with very quick response. The basses have the usual Galli sound-clear, balanced, good sustain. The overall result is outstanding. The set is used on a 2012 Robert Ruck classical guitar. These strings bring out the best qualities of the cedar/Brazilian combination. It is an exceptional value and I can change them every 4 weeks. Highly recommended to serious classical players.
