Long-lasting strings from a tradition of innovation.
The special design and tension of the Gypsy Jazz make these strings the best choice for "manouche" guitars.
The Galli Musical Strings Company was established by Tommaso Galli in 1890. At that time musical strings were handcrafted using gut. In 1950 Roberto Galli, Tommaso's son, joined the firm. Roberto inherited the talent of his father and in time became like his father a great expert, a maestro, in the art of musical string making. In the 1970s Galli Strings introduced new technologically advanced equipment into their production process.
Roberto Galli's son, Tommaso, joined the company in 1985. Building on his grandfather's and father's musical and technical achievements, Tommaso Galli has extended into the twenty-first century the Galli tradition of developing and manufacturing fine musical strings.

Comments about Galli Strings GSL11 GYPSY JAZZ Silver Plated Silk And Steel Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
1927 Gibson L-O playing Folk, Bluegrass, Country some jazz and a smidgen of rock since 1980. Using silk and steel to keep from tearing it apart.3 years ago replaced wornout finger board and frets (87 years old)and it worked okay. Used all S&S on market and never sounded the same. Ran into "Gypsy Jazz" medium and tried them to try because I tried them all.
What a difference!Itsoundslouder, clearer, sharper and fuller. She sounds happy more fun to play with and it plays smoother. Can't put her down and my other guitar is getting a rest.
