The Galli Musical Strings Company was established by Tommaso Galli in 1890. At that time musical strings were handcrafted using gut. In 1950 Roberto Galli, Tommaso's son, joined the firm. Roberto inherited the talent of his father and in time became like his father a great expert, a maestro, in the art of musical string making. In the 1970s Galli Strings introduced new technologically advanced equipment into their production process.
Roberto Galli's son, Tommaso, joined the company in 1985. Building on his grandfather's and father's musical and technical achievements, Tommaso Galli has extended into the twenty-first century the Galli tradition of developing and manufacturing fine musical strings.

Comments about Galli Strings JF1046 JAZZ FLAT WOUND Extra Light Electric Guitar Strings 10-46:
Bought three sets, put one set on my 85' Squier Strat the "D" string was dead, took them right back off. Put another set on a friend's 05' Ibanez AS73, wouldn't stay in tune for 1 minute, the "G" was really bad. The strings came paper wrapped with dark spots which appeared to be premature corrosion. Third set went in the garbage. Both guitars were setup to specs... proper neck relief, string height, and correct saddle position for correct intonation. Strings were properly installed with plenty wraps and locking on the capstans. Replaced these strings with D'Addario ECG23, a thousand times better for the same price!
