I unpacked the case, put my amp in and then the D-ring tore out when I pulled the case across the floor using the carrying strap. The stitching had pulled out from the torn nylon. I know, that joint is designed for upward stress, but this is how people treat gear in the real world. Most bass gig bags have stronger attachments where the handle or straps meet the body of the case -- and the MB-S weighs twice as much as the heaviest bass. Gallien-Krueger should have made the load-bearing attachments stronger than those of a cheap gig bag. Then I took my amp out of the case and saw that a lower corner of my amp had ripped the interior nylon (at a corner) when I was putting it in the case. Bass gig bags generally have reinforcement (usually vinyl) at friction points -- what's up at Gallien-Krueger?One more thing, if the designers at Gallien-Krueger wanted to follow a vaunted principle of product design (versatility) they could have put a carrying handle on the case. This thing is weak.
The shoulder strap has broken twice on me. Each time, the amp dropped. Needless to say, it is not trustworthy. The first one broke, GK replaced it, and the next one broke. Save your amp!!
