The Gator GE-SHLF-UNIV-1U is a rackmountable shelf with a universal hole pattern that accommodates most popular components that take up less than a full rack space. The hole pattern is such that wireless tabletop receivers and other devices can be mounted by backing out the screws on the bottom of the units and then screwing them back in through the shelf. The shelf fits my rack. Edges and pre-drilled holes are nicely finished; no sharp metal.
I bought this shelf to mount a few small, light items so weight isn't an issue for me, but I wonder about the manufacturer's 25 lb. capacity rating. I was surprised by the degree to which the shelf flexed when I was drilling additional holes in it.
