So the actual power supply itself is not that bad.. It gets the job done for sure. However, the power cord connecting the supply to the wall SUCKS! It uses extremely thin copper wiring and just after rolling it up to pack away, will start to cause it to break. Mine broke not too long after having it and the thing is, you can't find just a replacement cord. I looked everywhere. decent product, TERRIBLE power cord. Be careful with it if you decide to get it.

Comments about Gator G-Bus-8-US Pedal Board Power Supply:

I've read negative comments regarding how the cord or plug breaks after time, but I've owned one for years now and have never had a problem with it. I should add that it just sits there, I don't gig or constantly move it around, so that could contribute to its long life. It does its job, and I like the extra 18v outlets if needed.

Comments about Gator G-Bus-8-US Pedal Board Power Supply:

This thing can power all my pedals with no problem. Only down side is that I have to buy a converter for my boomerang III looper pedal beacuse it does not come with all the adapters needed for certain pedals. Easy fix tho used a line 6 pedal convertor. But this complaint is due to my lack of research. If you are looking for a power supply that can power a pedal train PRO and not hurt your pocket book to much. This is the way to go!!!

        Not bad

        By Anonymous

        from Undisclosed

Comments about Gator G-Bus-8-US Pedal Board Power Supply:

This is a great beginner power supply, great for smaller boards. But as you upgrade and start buying pedals that require their own power supplies, (line 6, holy grail, etc..) then you will want something better. I would recomend a voodo lab 2, or a t-rex fuel tank. Again, this is for smaller setups...

        Great product when it works...

        By Kevan

Comments about Gator G-Bus-8-US Pedal Board Power Supply:

This review is in regards to the power supply that came with my Gator GW-GIG Box Junior. I used this power source to run an Electro-Harmonics Small Clone, Aphex Acoustic Exciter, MXR DynaComp and Boss TU-2 tuner. It worked great for about four months and then, while trading pedals between pedalboards one night, the power supply stopped working. All pedals continued to work just fine, I just don't quite understand why it took this long to crap out. Maybe I got a lemon, but but I think that for this price the product should last longer than four months! I enjoyed this pedalboard while I could use it, but if I had it to do over I would just save a little more and get an SKB-45.

        Not too shabby

        By Nyosdfyer

Comments about Gator G-Bus-8-US Pedal Board Power Supply:

I got this to power my pedaltrain pro board. It works pretty well. There is a little hum in the signal b/c the outs arent isolated like on the Voodoo Labs PP but then again its a lot cheaper than the VL. It serves its purpose so I dig it.

        warning!

        By Nathan Charles

        from Norristown, PA

Comments about Gator G-Bus-8-US Pedal Board Power Supply:

This is a very good quality power supply. It gets the job done with minimal hum added to your signal. The downside, however, is the power supply cable going to the box. if you lose it, it CANNOT be replaced. I searched everywhere and COULD NOT FIND THAT CABLE. Even worse I actually contacted Gator themselves and they will not help me out. Props to an awesome product, but, at least make parts replaceable. nobody would pay twice just cuz of an irreplaceable cable. This is a good product, but Gator, you've lost my business. I don't doubt the quality of their products but you refuse to help your customers. It's a good power supply, but I'm just saying hold onto that cable.

I don't know if some of the people below my review just got a crappy G-Bus but I really like mine a lot! I would buy it again. It gets the job done and no more batteries!!! It's awesome you should buy it you'll love it. No more wasted money on 9v and 18v anymore.

        Gator G-Bus

        By stratosaurus

Comments about Gator G-Bus-8-US Pedal Board Power Supply:

Never had a bad unit before of anything. First one I got I spent all the time mounting it and wiring it into my new slant board, liked the idea it could bring 18v to my OCD. Fired it up, no power from the box, the wall wart has bringing power but the box was dead. Sent it back after all the trouble to remove it. Replacements arrived in about 1 week and half, tried this one out on the 18v, hooked it all up and again no power on any of the 9v supplies, the 18v was sending but no 9v power. Piece of crap. Sending this one back for refund, opting for another product that can bring 16-18v for the OCD along with my 6 other 9v pedals.
