Foam inside could be softer, but overall I love this case! 10 outta 10. I put this case into service from the box to Gig same day. As a sound engineer, protecting my gear on the road tops my priority list. It won't be the last one I'll buy....see you on the road.

I bought this for my Allen & Health MixWizard3162. The case is disappointingly built light. The hinge is very light and it won't take much at all to bend it. The base and cover don't provide a tight fit. I don't think the inside would keep dry in the rain.The interior spacers work well to hold the mixer tightly in place. The removable wedge also helps keep a tight fit.There is only one handle - on the long side of the case. An additional handle on the top of the case would be helpful when rolling the case, and then needing to lift it up a curb or few steps. The way it is, you pull the case along, then if you need to lift it, you have to bend over and put it on its side so you can lift it by the handle. Once you are up the curb, you have to set it down, turn it on end, and extend the pulling handle again.It will protect the mixer, but I feel like I have to "baby" the case so I don't damage it. I would not consider this to be an ATA level case, but will do okay for light use.

I think this is a nice case for carring your Peavey FX 24 mixer in seeing as though it's an odd size mixer, the 25x20x8 case works well.
