I have the 76 note version of this case. It rolls nicely and is easily adjustable. I have had no quality problems and I have used the case for over a year.

The Gator GK-288R 88-Note Keyboard Case absolutely sucks. Carried a Yamaha S90 in mine. Carrying handles broke off after only a couple of gigs. Plastic tends to warp if it's warm outside making closing it an absolute nightmare. I will never buy another Gator product again. I already turned 2 fellow musicians away from them. I am just trying to be honest....

The inside velcro straps are a nice feature and the case provides average protection. But the outside handles broke off completely and the latches are easily bent.

Don't buy this case if you care about your keyboard. I've owned it now for just over a year, and I gig 2-3 times a month. I've used it to hold a Roland RD-700. In that year 2 of the 3 handles have broken free, both breaking while lifting the case. The keyboard suffered 2 drops from 2 feet. The velcro tie down straps are hanging on by a few threads at their anchor point, and the outside of the case has warped making latching it more difficult. This case is extremely poor quality.

The latches open too easily, and I don't think that secure latches should open that easily. But the rolling wheels have been great, they are very convenient. Overall, it was pretty good. My only complaint is with the latches.

The case is made of a rather thin material and the inside felt is rather thin as well, but it does plenty to protect your board. You don't need a steel-plated tank armor case to protect it. My only problem with it was that the handles completely broke. They are pretty cheap. After about a year of use the end handle snapped, and now recently a side handle is broken, making it VERY hard to maneuver without the handles. Luckily I am handy with screwdrivers and such, so I was able to reinforce the handles and they are BETTER now than they were when they came brand new. So anyway, at this price, it's a little overrated considering the handles easily break. But it will definitely protect your board and is rugged enough for I'd imagine any musical excursion. On the plus side, it is nice and light and doesn't add too much weight to the keyboard, and the rollerblade wheels are awesome. They are still running smoother than ever.

I was wondering why this costs so much less than its SKB counterpart, until I received it. The material is so thin and flexible that I'm afraid of my children stepping on it, while the inside is lined with a ridiculously thin felt, instead of having real cushions. Spend the extra few dollars and get yourself an SKB, and protect your investment.
