Never had it...never will

Just looking at the pictures of this thing you can tell it's a hunk of junk. There's not retiaining strap for the neck and the "padding" looks really cheap. After seeing the picture of this thing dissassembled, I can see why it has such low ratings. Do yourself (and your axe) a favor... if you can't afford a Hercules stand, buy the cheaper version. It's the same price as this "Ace" and a whole lot better.

steer clear

This thing is not built very well at all. The joints where the metal is welded toghether are very shoddy and the actual arm that hold the guitar's body up broke on mine. There is a huge crack and its going to snap off entirely any day now. I had a strat on it too which is NOT even a heavy guitar.

Cheap you get what you pay for

By J 4 the Lord

I bought 2 of these stands, one for my acoustic and one for my electric. I kept the stands set up at home so they were not moved around allot. The first stand dropped my guitar several times and eventually the welds on it broke. The second one has a problem with the body holder constantly coming out and the insert point for this has become severly worn resulting if your not careful the holder comes out when you pick your guitar up.

Piece of JUNK

I bought this stand and in about two-three weeks, the part the body of the guitar rests on busted off. Now, everytime I put my guitar on it, it breaks off and I have to put it back on. You can get a WAY better stand for the same amount of money. I went to a local store and got a new stand for the same amount for the same price. I would not get this item.
