Hone your chops with tempo change, pitch control, and looping.
Slow it down by 33% without changing the pitch to learn those elusive licks. Loop the hard part to rehearse it over and over. Or change pitch up to an octave without changing speed for aerobics instruction or beat matching with another source. Plug in a mic or instrument through 1/4" or XLR jacks to hear yourself in the mix. Voice reduction system will reduce lead vocals on many CDs so you can rule the cut. Analog and digital stereo outs, 3-band EQ, CD-TEXT display, 3-way power, built-in speaker, and headphone jack with volume control.

I bought this thing two years ago. From the pictures and 5 feet away it looks like a high quality transcriber. You also think it's going to be high quality when it costs all that money, but it's junk. First of all it's really a noisy cd player, it has a lot of hiss and distortion in the background. Loops are not seamless, there is always a delay. But worst of all, it's poorly made, the door mechanism is a weak design. Please, please, please, don't do the same mistake I did, save yourself the money and buy something else.
