Overall the best for the money.stay bright after lots of use, cleaning them brings back life.
I have been using these strings for at least 15 years and they always sound bright, even when they get old. Of course they play better new, but only because with all strings, residue like oil and grime get under the strings if you leave them on too long.cleaning these strings after playing them prolongs the life of the string and they keep on "BOOMING"
Maybe Thomastik or SIT or DR might be a bit better when new, but through the life of the string collectively, I like GHS.
Crazy good for the bucks.

I love GHS strings. They are snappy and full of attitude. Unlike some off the more expensive coa5ted strings these feel like you are playing them, not pushing down on limp pieces of spagetti. Like the other reviewer I have been a Fender Bullit user for years but fing the GHS much superior.

I've tried almost every gauge, size and brand at first I LOVED Fender super bullets, thinking they where the best strings you could possibly buy mostly because Yngwie Malmsteen played them in the 90s. But after setting up a floyd rose on a guitar because they where cheap and I was doing it the first time and I started playing the guitar so I knew the strings stretched proper and loved the overall sound, its like when you first try active pickups or play that new guitar you saved up for an average set of 9s will last a month to a month and a half which is much, much longer than Fenders.. sound you put a heavy gauge set of these in Eb right out of the box because I hate new string sound but with these and your perfect metal tone on your guitar you play that E minor or a power chord you'll take over the world.. keep in mind this opinion is based off of years and years of playing them not just one pack.These dynamite and nickle alloy strings just like everything but D'Addario have one down side they are all the same color! who cares though ALWAYS have a backup guitar when you play live or else you risk getting booed off the stage or not finishing your set.

These strings themselves are wonderful and are my go-to brand for all of my guitars. However the packaging on them is terrible. All three strings of each size are in one single envelope, so you have to unravel all of the strings to get just one. and they're not even sealed, so the other two sets that aren't being used are just sitting aside, being exposed to moisture and air.

Hopefully you are not on stage when you break a string and find out that all 3 of the same gauge strings are wrapped together. You might like these if you like spending an extra hour or two separating the strings to get to the one or ones you need. Worst idea since the environmental pack.
