Comments about GHS GB7L Boomers 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

It seems I always come back to these. Every time I try out new strings on my Schecter, I soon wish they were another set of GHS boomers. Despite being such a light set, they have great tone and I've never had problems with falling out of tune. When I replace them, it's because they've gotten old, dirty and disgusting; not because they broke.

      Finally a set of 7 string 9"s with a ballsy B string

      By jazzbass

Comments about GHS GB7L Boomers 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

I think these strings feel great, sound great, stay in tune, are not over priced, but what I really love is that it's the only set of 9's that has a .58 for the B string. That is what seals the deal. I can tune down to an A and still get a good sound, but even tuned to pitch the set still feels balanced.

      on a strat

Comments about GHS GB7L Boomers 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

I like this set for drop D down a half step (Db, Ab, Gb, C, F) on a 6 string double fat strat, ditching the 9. I like the sizes better than any of the 6 string drop D sets I've tried. These last a long time and still sound good.

      I'll probably stick with these

Comments about GHS GB7L Boomers 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

These don't sound as bright as the strings that came stock on my WG587, and I was surprised at the discoloration on some of the strints which made me suspicious of the quality; but the chunky B string sounds good and stays in tune better than the previous strings, so I will probably keep using the GHLs.
