Boomers are some of the best strings on the market for daily use. They hold a tune and are fast strings. Easy on the fingers and keep their tonal quality for an extra long time. I've had them on a guitar that was sitting for over a year and they still played awesome, and tuned right up.
I have always used Boomers on my Fender guitars over the past 30 years. They never disappoint. They start out extra bright when new and after a couple of weeks they warm up more to a beautiful tone, and last a long time. I use 10's because I do a lot of string bending, and I haven't broken one yet. The standard pick ups on Fender guitars just like Boomers. They have a great coating on them too.
The clear coating lasts forever and they hold a tune great too. I rarely have to retune aside from the normal tweak now and then from string bending. But they don't break and keep thier smoothness longer than others I have tried.
Boomers are always affordable and reasonably priced, even for the beginner.

good budget strings, but they dont stay in tune as good as high end strings, and the tone is a bit dull for my taste. the highs are decent, the mids are nice, but the low notes are dull. its fine for metal rythem chugging i suppose, but for lead you may be dissapointed when playing the bigger strings, especially past the 9th fret and it gets worse the higher you go. they are tough and last long, but whole step bending and beyond can sometimes require tuning tweaks, tremolo action worsens this problem. good buy for the price i suppose, but i would reccomend spending a little more and getting a lot more, like elixirs or d'addarios.

Comments about GHS GBL Boomers Light 010 Electric Guitar Strings:

I have been using this same gauge of GHS boomers since forever. I got stuck with one brand on my telecasters and this is what I use. I also use a Timara G&B bender with a Timara string drop (Timara Custom Shop items) and these strings are my go to strings. Never did me wrong in all these years.

Comments about GHS GBL Boomers Light 010 Electric Guitar Strings:

I've used GHS Boomers on my SG for many years. Great tone and feel. I play out every week and with practicing at home put many hours on strings. These are long lasting with no corrosion or dullness noticed.
I recommend GHS strings, you'll be satisfied!

I have tried a lot of different strings, but ghs has more of a sparkle quality to it. I like some D'addarios, but I usually purchase ghs strings. They both make great products.

Comments about GHS GBL Boomers Light 010 Electric Guitar Strings:

I've been playing for 40 years. I've tried nearly every string out there, and I always come back to GHS. D,Addario is ok, but for the money, they go flat far too quickly. The higher priced, gimmicky strings have not one quality to justify the price. Boomers are consistent and last a good long time. The quality for the money is the best in the industry.

I've been playing for a couple years now and I like GHS strings probably the best. They don't rust and keep in tune for a long time. I like the David Gimour GHS strings as well.
