I just bought the 'Handmaster Plus' about two weeks ago, worked out with it about 15-20 minutes pretty much everyday- you can use it just about anywhere- and already I've seen a significant difference in how well I play my guitar. What I'm capable of doing with my guitar has already changed dramatically and I'm able to play chords I never thought possible! I'm quicker and stronger with whatever I play! Also one other thing, they include two finger-bands for larger and smaller hands. (with difficulty of each set respectively).

I suggest you buy something else. The straps are small and I easily broke it and I was trying to be very gentle with it because I knew it was prone to breaking. Trust me spend your money somewhere else it will break and it wild be a pain to replace. But I did get a lot better when it was working and still us the little red ball every blue moon.

Overall I am very satisfied with Handmaster and Musicians Friend
The Handmaster Plus works two different muscle groups, first group is the bottom of the forarm, the second group is the top of the forarm. After only three uses I can spread my fret hand farther than ever befor.
I gave the Handmaster Plus only nine because the rubber rings could be better.
But you do get two of them in the package.
For what I payed the Handmaster Plus works well.

At first I thought it was going to be ok. It was a little hard to get on but after that it was easy to use. It felt pretty good and I was able to feel the muscles building strength. I rested for a few minutes and tried again. This time the cord popped at the thumb. It was over then. The loops are too small for what I think are average fingers. I am a woman and my fingers barely fit. The thumb loop didn't have a chance. I also noticed my fingers were turning blue after 5 minutes of use. Loops are really tight. I will get my money back and try something else. If you have small hands then it will be ok for you.

This thing works really good, you have to put the bands all the way to your tips, and stretch it out as far as you can for as long as you can, at least until it hurts!! if you do that it will build your hand muscles like you wouldn't belive i have done it, and use it in the car on the way to work! thats the best! I now can play faster and more accurate! if you don't like this product then you must be using it wrong, it's supposed to hurt your hand at first, that means you are weak! after a few days it will be a lot easier!!

I bought this a few weeks ago. I found that the finger holes were a bit small for my hand, so I just took them off the ball and used it without. Although I didn't use the finger bands, they did feel fairly sturdy and the ball itself I found absolutely nothing wrong with.I probably would have went with a different product knowing the finger holes were the size they are, but otherwise, a decent product.

i got this about two days ago and i can already tell a difference....i've used it for about 15-20 minutes every other hour and i can tell that it is really working my whole hand, wrist, fingers, and forearm...it's great. it comes with some simple exercises to start with in the packaging too. if you're looking for something that'll work your hand out...i'd recommend getting this

I bought a set that included each one of the three strength balls and immediately broke the finger cord on the purple and yellow ball/cord combo. That made me think I need to step up to the red and black combo and after a month or so broke both cords for small hands and large hands. Let me say that I got smallish hands and they are not very strong to say the least and the bands just wear out far too quick.Now I got the "last man standing" from this sorry trio of hand strengtheners in the form of the Orange and Gray ball/cord combo for "strength training" and I'll probably break those considering how the other products have performed.I really was into the Handmaster Plus since it worked great for a little while. However, I do not recommend any of the Handmaster Plus balls since they are not durable at all.Simply put good idea but poor quality.
