GHS begins with the finest of raw materials and then uses a finely regulated coating process called MST (Metal Surface Treatment) to craft their Infinity Steel guitar strings. This unique technology coats the outer wires which are then wrapped around a high-quality core wire, maximizing tone and endurance.

I play Fusion style jazz, and don't like strings that make noise when you slide up or down. These are very quiet, and soft to the touch. Generally I play .010's, but I found that the Infinity Steel are better in .011's on my ES-137 custom, ES-145, and Sainted Epi Joe Pass.So far I've had them on over a month, and they are as bright as the day I put them on... that's 3 more weeks than the schedule I usually change them.
great sound & look, buy these!
These are the greatest strings in the world...hands down. i dont like 9's or 10's so i use these elevens and much to my suprise they stretch just like 10's but keep their tone. the black coating looks amazing and these strings really so stretch in merely minutes. ghs did an amazing job. but it would be cool if all the strings were black...but they sound amazing so who cares
