Comments about Gibson 2" Nylon Guitar Strap:
I had a version of this strap I got in the 90's that I have used for nearly 15 years on my SG. This new version is inferior in almost every way. The strap ends are of lower quality and are only stitched on one side (as opposed to the double stiching on the old version). Even the plastic clip to adjust the strap is of lower quality.
Most significantly, the strap is approximately 5" shorter than the old version. I am 5'7" and wear my guitar just below my beltline. The new version of the strap is too short. The nylon material, however, is of the same quality as the old version. It is inexpensive, but I would have rather paid a few dollars more for a better quality strap.

fine inexpensive strap. It hasnt reacted to the nitro finish in any way and I like fact that it doesnt wind up like a cord after I take in off

I have 4 of these, 1 for each guitar and a backup. I have yet to actually use the backup, but better safe than sorry. The material will slip around on your back (shirt), so if you don't like that, don't buy this strap. If you like being able to readjust your guitar by pulling or pushing on your neck, then this is the strap for you. I gave it a 1 on Features just because it's a strap, and it has a single purpose.
