Well ...gibson is an obvious choice if u want high quality ...unfortunately i didn't notice in the picture that it was not slotted for the strings which is a good thing if your replacing and have to make the bridge fit the guitar but i bought this to put on a luthier project which needs to be set correctly. its perfect if your buying it for a replacement bridge on a restoration but if your building your own guitar i would find a slotted bridge.

After talking to various luthiers around town, I was leary of buying parts: "well, they may not fit, the specs change," that sort of thing. But I jumped in, was able to replace all the necessary parts on my 1977 Les Paul Standard myself. Everything fit perfectly!!!! So I'll ber doing the same to my 1955 Les Paul Pro. Thanks Musician's Friend!!!!

Skip the aftermarket brands, this fits perfectly and the saddles are a breeze to notch abd intonate. The nickel finish is nice- plating done to pefection. I learned to buy Gibson after trying some no-name cheap stuff hanging in GC store, just did not fit as closely as Gibson and when it comes to coupling the strings to the body, I want nice contact between parts. Nice work Gibson.

I recently had to replace the bridge for my 1989 Les Paul Custom, which was beginning to bend. This is the correct replacement bridge for most LP's and it is well made and fits and works perfectly!
