An excellent sounding set of strings. I was kind of disappointed in the sound of my '56 Les Paul Gold Top reissue until I discovered these strings. Wow! What a difference! Thick, rich tone, with ringing harmonics to boot. Love 'em!

These are the best strings I've ever had on my guitar! I have a LTD ESP EC-1000 Deluxe and these strings sound great on it. I've tried the Ernie Ball Cobalts and changed them after two weeks of use. Too bright and too noisy. I've gone through a lot of different brands of strings searching for a particular sound and I found it with these. I plan to order the Gibson Reissue as my main string from now on. They have great sustain and hold their tune really well also.
If you are looking for a good mellow sound that's not too bright, with good low's and mid-range then these are for you.

I switched to these from Ernie Ball 10's and I'm glad I did. They add a warmness to your tone especially when distorted I have not found with any other set of strings. I've tried Elixir, D'Addario, Ernie Ball and a few others and they don't compare. Mind you the Ernie Ball strings I was using were only a few months old.
These shine especially when tuned Db Ab Db Gb Bb eb for songs such as High Fiving MF by Local H. I play an old SG knockoff through a used solid state Vox amplifier and I only use my amp's distortion, so my set up is pretty basic. Those things considered these strings breathe new life into my amp and I couldn't ask for more.
Don't bother playing the process of elimination with the countless other brands out there. These will not disappoint you. Tune em up, intonate your guitar and enjoy!

Very satisfied so far. I play my guitars hard. So far, no breakage. Will buy more of these.
Only had these on my Les Paul for a couple of weeks, but WOW! Very smooth, vintage tone. I play Blues/Rock and these things are perfect for the sound that I was looking for. Brings out the best tone from my Les Paul. Pure nickel strings are the best for Classic Rock & Blues.
These are slightly higher priced than the Fender Nickels that I use on my Strat, but would you put Fender strings on a Gibson? Or vice-versa? Definetely recommend these for your Gibby if you play Blues or Classic Rock!

These strings sounded great! it does kindve change ur tone a little, but thats a good thing because it makes it better. They last a decent amount of time but they do wear faster than some others. Compared to elxiers i would rather have the great gibson string tone than long string life anyway.

I've been using these for a while, and they worked nicely, sounded great, all that stuff. About a month ago they started to wear out and make dents where the frets were. Gradually, they sounded worse and worse, and just snapped. I would recommend these to people who change their strings often, don't mind paying a little extra, and like the vintage tone.

I have a Harmony electric guitar. i had these really crapy strings on there and i put these strings on the guitar and i thought i had a new guitar. those strings scream!! i love em, no matter what you type of music you play, they shouldn't let you down!!! well worth the money i paid!!! i plan to buy more!!!
