I was willing to give this company another chance and buy this particular case with its new look. I had owned its predecessor, which used to be silver and it fell apart within months. A salesmen had pursuaded me that this one was much better than the last. This new model, however, isn't much different. I went out of my way to be gentle with the zipper, but it's starting to fall apart after 8 months. The plastic bottom panel of the case (where the back of your axe rests against while being it's carried) is starting to crack and come apart from the weight of my keyboard, and it's just a 61 note Roland JD800 !! I'd hate to see what an 88 note board would do to that wimpy panel !! The padding around the case is pathetically inadequate. If any protection exists, it would be from the pockets on the side, and certainly not the hilariously thin foam layer around the case. The only thing this case has going for it is its looks and that's part of what enticed me to buy it. What a shame. I guess it's too much to ask these days for a gig bag that can last a good couple years. They certainly don't make 'em like they used to. Everyone needs to protect their bottom line now and use cheap parts. Hopefully these guys will get a grip and come out with something that actually gives some protection and doesn't fall apart within less than a year.
Sorry guys at company, i bought the previous bag... i used it once a week to carry my privia, the bag fell apart by 6 months... the keyboard inside bag fell from an upright standing position( leaning against the wall) to the floor and had to replace 8 keys... absolutely no protection. Besides storing my keyboard and protecting it from dust, it does little more.
