        Very light weight and very well made. Magnetic lock will only work with the included studs which appear to be threaded for import guitars and did not fit my 2011 Gibson 50s Tribute Les Paul Studio.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I tried to install this on a 2011 Gibson Les Paul. If you use your original Gibson studs, the magnetic lock will not work. The NVT studs were not compatible with the Gibson insert threads. Maybe this is a drop-in replacement for an imported stop tail piece such as Epiphone. That aside, it is extremely light and beautifully made.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
