The Graph Tech Supercharger Acoustic Kit A fits acoustic guitars from Larrivee, Washburn, and most Gibson, Yamaha, and Fender acoustics. Also fits most other popular acoustic guitars that have a 1/8"-thick saddle.
The TUSQ® Saddle and Bridge Pins included in this Graph Tech Supercharger Kit are designed to create absolutely the best link between your guitar strings' vibration and your guitar top. The TUSQ® Saddle in this kit is made under high heat and pressure and, unlike bone or ivory, each saddle is consistent from piece to piece and within each piece. There are no dead spots. TUSQ® is specially formulated to deliver the right frequencies and harmonics into your guitar top. You will experience a richer tone using a TUSQ® saddle. You will hear a huge increase in the harmonic content of each note played compared to conventional materials.
The TUSQ® Bridge Pins included in this kit also contribute to your guitar tone and performance. They are light-weight, yet very rigid and crystalline in nature. Removing weight from your bridge lets your guitar top vibrate more freely, increasing bass response, volume, and sustain. Try strumming a chord, let it ring and then place your finger on the bridge and see how the tone is affected as the bass response and sustain is decreased.

Good fit for my Yamaha FG700s acoustic. I was just trying to improve the sound of my low cost guitar which I like to carry to work and practice with. This fit very well after a bit of sanding to lower the action. The pins fit very well and look very good also. It only took me about 30 minutes to install, with most of the time spent sanding the bottom of the saddle. I feel like it did make the sustain much better and does as advertised. I like this guitar alot and plan on having it forever. I enjoy it even more now. I also purchased one for my Fender acoustic electric but have not installed yet.

I purchased a Fender CD 60 Natural ,2 years ago. Although the guitar sounds really nice , I always felt that something was missing. After a little research I decided to give Tusq a try. I brought it home and followed the instractions that were in the box. Everything went smooth. I also purchased a Tusq 1/4" Epiphone slotted nut ( PQ-6060-00) because I also wanted to change the really cheap nut of the guitar. The bridge pins ,(which are 2mm) fitted in the bridge holes like a glove. Then I changed the strings with a fresh set of Martin and strum a chord...Wow, what a difference!!! Boomy ,deep ,open lows and crystal clear highs .I finally found what was missing from my guitar. Money very well spent. Do your self a favor and find the real sound of your guitar. Just be carefull when sanding your saddle or nut so you dont remove to much material.

It's not an expensive upgrade whatsoever. I can't give it too high a rating because I wasn't wowed with the difference immediately. It's subtle enough that I need more time to see how much I like it.
I installed this in my Yamaha FG730. It's a beginner guitar and I'm no beginner but it's all I have. I put it into the guitar hoping to nudge up the sound on the guitar, which I was already pleased with in context of price.
Installation wasn't too difficult. The directions were clear and easy to follow. It took more sanding than I thought to get the saddle right, but nothing dramatically hard. I think I got everything fine tuned in about an hour.
Once I had my guitar strung up and tuned, I noticed a perceived volume increase and possibly a clarity increase.
Everything is top notch quality. Not that you'd assume otherwise from graphtech.
I need more time to see if it indeed has an increased sustain and if the "tone" has developed, but on sheer volume and clarity it seems worth it.

I'll admit it. I was more than a little skeptical about the claims made by Graph Tech. Install was straightforward. More than a little sanding to get the bridge saddle right, and a bit to get the pins where I wanted them, about 30 minutes total.Results? Definite improvement in sustain, by a ton with much increased volume and a clearer overall tone.A cheap, easy upgrade that's worth the effort and price.
