The KB90 traveler II; Does everything that you want a stand to do, tilt and can be used sitting or standing.
I have some reservations about the plastic to hold positions. I'm waiting to see how they hold up
You get what you pay for. Depends on how it holds up

This stand is very portable and the bag it comes with is pretty nice. However isn't not meant for frequent gigging. Someone stepped one of the stand legs and the attactment hinge was broken loose. Now its still usable, however the base is no longer adjustable. I would reccomend this stand only for light use, but if you're doing weekly gigs with lots of people around you may want to get something more sturdy.

Comments about Hamilton KB90 Traveler II Portable Symphonic Music Stand and Bag:

The male threads on the adjustment knobs strip out and the carrying case almost fell apart so I had it restitched. I used to use Hamilton trombone stands as well, and they too are now junk

Comments about Hamilton KB90 Traveler II Portable Symphonic Music Stand and Bag:

My first purchase of a personal portable music stand... Borrowed them before now. Chose it after asking other experienced musicians about the pros and cons of the various stands they have used. The Hamilton is an appropriate balance of lightweight construction and sturdy, performance-worthy stability in a stand that quickly sets up and collapses without the need for tools of any kind. Other stands are heavier and/or require the purchase of a separate carrying bag, and can be more expensive as well. I am well satisfied and expect to use it for many years.

Comments about Hamilton KB90 Traveler II Portable Symphonic Music Stand and Bag:

I soon found that the tubing is so thin that the clamp dented it thus making it almost impossible to raise and lower. I wish I could return it but I kept it too long.

Comments about Hamilton KB90 Traveler II Portable Symphonic Music Stand and Bag:

This is an attractive-looking stand as well as sturdy. Set up is easy. The stand holds its position well. The case is a bit tight, and I'm not sure the zipper will hold if put under much stress, so I'm extra careful with that.

Comments about Hamilton KB90 Traveler II Portable Symphonic Music Stand and Bag:

Had to buy a replacement as the original got stolen. Only carried the old Manhasset to a gig once then realized why I bought the Hamilton.

Like the way the top locks in position as I use it to hold a drum machine which is heavier than charts.

          Love It!!

I found this stand to be as good as advertised. It is very solid for a portable stand, adjusts easily and the bag is good quality and can hold a few extras.

Not a good choice for a Pro....

          By kristianrex

          from Jersey Shore

Comments about Hamilton KB90 Traveler II Portable Symphonic Music Stand and Bag:

If you are doing gigs and want a music stand that has good weight, sets up easy and breaks down easy, this is NOT the stand for you. The pole does not slide up and down because it is covered in a rough rubbery texture which looks cool but makes set miserable. This is not a good choice for a pro-player and I do not recommend.
