I've owned a number of very "iffy" guitar stands over the years, never feeling confident that my instruments would be held securely. They were top-heavy and prone to being knocked over, badly engineered, bulky and clumsy to transport. This Hercules mini stand's low center of gravity, solid construction, locking components, and compact size when folded for travel all add up to a stand I can truly stand behind. Some people may grouse about the price, but it is a low price to pay to feel that a cherished instrument is being held safely and securely. I will (and have already) heartily recommend this stand to my guitar-pickin' friends.

This stand is a very well built piece of equipment. I recently purchase my first guitar and feel very comfortable knowing that this little dynamo will support it with no problem. Its balance and stability are fantastic. No regrets here.

I have not bought another brand of stand since discovering Hercules. They are the cream of the crop and these minis are no exception. Worth the money, especially if you travel with your guitar and need a very stable, highly portable stand.
Love how the legs and vertical support LOCK, making this stand very stable. The arms on which the guitar rests swing forward to firmly support your guitar. When traveling, fold the arms back, unlock the legs and support, and throw it in your gear bag. It takes up very little room when folded, yet provides an extremely sturdy stand when set up. Love it!
It's a Hurcules. Nothing else to say!
Slightly pricier than most guitar stands but embodies evertyhing a guitar stand SHOULD be. Worth the money! I won't buy any other brand.

I love this little stand.It is compact to carry, and sets up in a flash.I use it every Sunday and Wednesday.You do have to be sure to have your guitar in it properly, and not bump into it - I would definitely recommend it.

I've used several compact stands and this is by far the best. It's made solid and holds the guitar securely. It won't prevent the guitar from falling if someone bumps into it, but to be protected from that you have to buy a much larger, heavier stand that holds the guitar from the neck. This one is light, folds up into my gig bag and great for going from gig to gig. What more do you want?

I'd never heard anything but rave reviews for anything Hercules makes and I've used some of the other guitar stands (and still do), so when I bought this I knew it would be the last guitar stand I ever bought. The entire thing (almost) is virtually indestructable and the foam is geat - doesn't leave any marks or stick at all. This guitar stand was it until it got stepped on on one of the arms that hold the guitar. See, the only part of the stand that isn't incredibly strong is one of the only places where it might get bent - right at the base of the arms that hold the guitar. Its a (relatively - for hercules) thin peice of metal that, under normal usage, would be fine - but on the chance that it gets stepped on, say goodbye to your stand.Despite one little flaw, I will definately buy from Hercules again.
