OVERVIEW

Never accidentally knock your guitar off the stand again.

The Tri Stand Guitar Stand safely supports 3 guitars or basses. Features innovative Hercules Auto Grab System (AGS) yokes: the arms turn in and up with the weight of your guitars to hold them securely and simply open up when you lift them off. All contact points with the instruments feature Specially Formulated Foam rubber is used on all the contact points between the stand and your instrument to protect its finish. Also features the Hand Grip Height Adjuster, which makes adjustments a breeze with a locking pin to secure the stand in place. Folding backrests flip down to support your guitars and back up for storage and transport.

All Hercules stands are safe for most nitrocellulose lacquer finish guitars*.

*Hercules tests for many types of nitro finish, however some guitar manufacturers change their nitro mixture often. Guitars should never be stored on a stand...always in the case.

I saw another review where somebody downrated this stand because they guessed that six string basses won't work on this stand. Kind of crummy, in my opinion, to take stars away without firsthand knowledge.

When I had one of these stands, I had two six string basses. It was a snug fit due to the wide necks, but I thought it was more stable because of it. In fact, I'm here today because I'm thinking about playing out again and this is the only stand I'll consider using.

I received this as a gift. When I perform or use in the studio, I need a stand for guitar, banjo, and mandolin. This handles the guitar and mandolin just fine, but the banjo tuner sits on the holder, detuning the string. I tried to contact the manufacturer, but they don't have a 3-instrument holder with a "universal" hanger, even though they make one. Plus, I couldn't contact the manufacturer as they only refer you to distributor.

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

This is NOT your average stand! It is for those who truly love their instruments and need to minimize space. Mine holds a Strat, a Les Paul and a Martin D-41 with no issues. The price is well worth the quality. I love mine!

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

Hercules Stands is not a business you need to be doing business with. I have two three guitar stands and two single stands. The rubber on the grip all of stands has turned to goo. The lock spring came loose on one and dropped the guitars to the floor.

The place where I bought the stands is no longer in business thus I have no way to contact Hercules as their website states that I must go through a dealer.

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

We have 3 of these at our church for the past 3 years and hands down the best stands I have used. We use them to hold bass guitars, acoustic and electrics. The ease of use, the sturdiness and security...I was worried about setting my Gibson acoustic in any old guitar stand. I just bought my 4th tri-stand for me to use at home...They truly will last for years to come!

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

Solid, well built guitar stand with a unique mechanism to prevent the guitar from falling out. The weight of the instrument pulls the yoke down and the two little "arms" rotate from a vertical to a horizontal position over top of the neck. Easy access to the guitar - just grab it and pick it up. Seems well balanced with one, two or three of my acoustic guitars on the stand. Nice way to showcase your instruments even if you don't use them in a performance and it doesn't take up a lot of space. I would recommend even a cheap black bag to carry the stand in, if for nothing else, just to keep it from getting scratched up while in transit. The box appears to double as a carrying case with a plastic handle on it but a bag would be nicer especially considering the price and the quality of the stand.

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

Great Stand, only one flaw. the hex bolt that holds the three-prong top to the stand stripped instantly when attempting to reposition. Don't know if this was just an issue with mine... While the bottom movable prongs can face any direction you are forced to have the guitars sit straight over the stand legs. This limits how compact this unit can be (very slightly)

I've been using this stand for the last 2 years and I love it.
Holds 3 guitars, occuipies minimal space. Very secure.
Excellent build quality. Very easy to use. Easy to fold up and transport.
This is not the cheapest guitar stand you may buy, but it will last a very long time.

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

A very good product over all, could it be improved, yes, but it's already the best, imho, on the market so. Secure grasping mechanism, worry no more. Stable footprint although orientation of leg in relation to guitar body is apparently to maximize stability but compromises comfort lowering a guitar straight on top of a kicker leg, don't miss. Body support foam covered back braces are nice, functional adjustability is minimum, not allowing for placement directly behind the set neck/ body intersection construction of many guitars, perhaps an additional set up for the upper section of the stand which is exactly where the neck/ body connect is on my guitar. Is this important you ask? It happened to me, came home from work and found my guitar broken in half, still on the, sounds like alexander hamilton, stand. That stand was a neck hang only, very bottom of the guitar body support, nothing in the middle. Problem solved with this stand. 3 in 1 works for me, less stands as I gig with multiple guitars, also saves space in the studio. Feels sturdy and secure, I might have shortened the shaft on the upper hanging device to create a little backward leaning slant, more weight resting against the lower support, wonder if they'll blow around in a stiff breeze. Good looking, quality feeling actuating mechanisms, love the "home shop" beads at the hanger shaft to top nut, hey, it's welded, fine with me. Couldn't be happier with this stand overall... well I could but nobody's listening so.
