Comments about Hipshot Stainless Steel Tele Bridge 3 Hole Mount with Compensated Saddles:

I bought a Chinese Tele just to fix up and see how good I could make it on a low budget. If you want to do it right you have to have a non-magnetic bridge if your pup will be in the middle of it. This Hipshot was the only one I found that fits the bill. Unless you go with a half bridge and pay big bucks for a special pickgaurd cover for the bridge pup. Lots of other nice Tele bridges but they were not Stainless Steel. The 3-hole mount matched up perfect with the previous mounting holes, the front edge of the pup rubs on the front edge of the routing hole but it still adjusts up and down fine. Musiciansfriend.com was awesome as always! The first one came with a missing saddle height set screw, MF sent another right away. Thank you M-friend!

      Great choice for B-benders

Comments about Hipshot Stainless Steel Tele Bridge 3 Hole Mount with Compensated Saddles:

I'm happy with the purchase. Although I felt it was a little overpriced, it's a really nice bridge. It's ideal for the Hipshot bender system. It's heftier than my old bridge. It was easy to install. And the saddles really tele'd up my tone. It's snappier.
I gave it a 9 for features because of one issue. The height adjustment screws are too long. If you have your guitar set up properly, you'll have the top of the screw sticking out the top of the saddle quite a bit.

It's all stainless steel. It has holes at the back for use with a Hipshot B-bender. I went with the three saddle version. I'm persnickity about intonation and am used to individual saddles. I was surprised by how easy it was to get perfect intonation.

I'd modified a stock bridge previously with cut slots for the bended strings. The Hipshot was a vast improvement. The holes line up perfectly. I get a more natural tone than going over a slot.
      Shiney. Heavy.
This is a hard one to call. On the one hand, it improved my tone, mechanics and tuning. It was easy to install and use. On the other hand it costs twice as much as most bridges. You could get something pretty close for less money and drill the holes for the bender yourself.

It's a good value compared to boutique bridges like the Callaham. I gave it an 8 because I thought it was a tad overpriced.
