This could be used in situations where you just need to split a stereo signal into two mono signals, however, it is advertised as an insert cable. As an insert cable, it's near-useless as these are stupid noisy. You get what you pay for!!

This is not for splitting a guitar signal for two amps, or any other similar application. So, if your a moron like me, don't get this for that purpose. You need a TS to TS/TS for splitting a guitar signal. The TR side of the split cable will not carry your signal very well. It will be MUCH quieter than the TS side of the cable, and it also adds some static. However, for the right application, it does seem like a nice cable. Using it as just a regular instrument cable (TRS to TS) it works fine with no extra noise or ground issues.
REMEMBER, NOT FOR SPLITTING A GUITAR SIGNAL OR ANY DEVICE THAT USES TS OUTPUT INSTEAD OF TRS

I use this cable to plug into the Rick-O-Sound output on my Rickenbacker 360/12 string guitar. It does the job and you don't need a splitter box, enabling the guitarist to connect one guitar to two amps and/or sets of effects.

I bought these cables to record my Yamaha keyboard in stereo, but they produce an excessive hiss that I don't get with other cables. Cheap quality.

I bought this cable to connect my digital guitar processor to the insert jack on my amp. This is a good quality cable and should not be passed over. My problem was that the impedance of my processor didn't match that of my amp. But if you can get this cable to work for you, I'm confident it will work well and long.

Needed this type of cable for my Alesis DM Pro. It has some stereo imputs that run two electronic drum pads. Never a glitch. Worked perfectly every time and very rugged. Very good product

I have used HOSA products and these cables for over a year on both my sound company projects and my son's Rock/Country band gigs.Never a failure, never a glitch.Same cables are priced 2x to 3x higher usually.I will keep using HOSA products for all my sound needs.
