Im seeing 5 star reviews for this cable from users who are replaceing a footswitch to amp channel selector or FX on/off cable.
I bought a back up Head that came with no footswitch and needed a cable to communicate a 2 button footswitch to the footswitch input on the back of my amp. for channel selection & Effects on off.
You see this type of cable usualy packed with channel footswitches, its TRS stereo for 2 button function communication. If you need a guitar to amp cable you should search "guitar cable"which requires TS cables not TRS.
For a footswitch channel selector cable I think this cable will be fine,or as a replacement for a worn footswitch to amp cable.I wont be useing it to carry an audio signal.

These cables are extremely expensive when you consider that they only work for a few months and then have to be replaced. I bought ten of these less than a year ago, I use them once a week, and so far, only a few of them are still usable. They don't stay plugged in well, and they're possessed by the 'twist yourself into a knot' devil. I won't buy this brand again -- price seems nice at first, but unless you only need it for a few performances, spend a little more and get something of better quality; you're going to have to spend the money eventually anyway.

Comments about Hosa TRS-TRS Stereo 1/4" Cable:
I just bought this cord to use as a bridge between my headphone out jack of my audio interface to a 4 channel headphone amp in my home studio. It works fine for that. I've seen several contributors saying it doesn't hold up under stress, but since I'm not using it in a performance environment, I expect that will be alright. Seems like a good value to me.

Comments about Hosa TRS-TRS Stereo 1/4" Cable:
Bought these because these stereo (TRS) cables were less expensive than standard (TS) cables(and of course, you can use them as standard cables OR stereo cables). Good quality. Hear no difference from other cables.

Comments about Hosa TRS-TRS Stereo 1/4" Cable:
I bought a Marshall Amp that came with defective cable to the foot switch. Musicians Friend shipped this item within the same day I called them. Now my set up is complete, and the foot switch works beautifully.

Comments about Hosa TRS-TRS Stereo 1/4" Cable:
Needed these cables to use with the Rocktron VFS1&2 footswiches they appear to be top quality and work perfectly. I purchased the 10ft. cables however they come in assortment of lengths Give em a try!
Comments about Hosa TRS-TRS Stereo 1/4" Cable:
This is an okay TSR patch cord. I am using it as a patch cord for a foot controller I built. Three feet is short. The molded ends make you loose 3-4" of distance if the cord needs to be next to another sound effect. You will need to purchase a right angle adapter. Consider building your own 1/4 TSR patch cable if proximity to your other effects are critical.

Comments about Hosa TRS-TRS Stereo 1/4" Cable:
I had 4" and 6" versions of this cable (not 10"). I had six of them, they lasted about a year and then started to fail. Crackling sound or no sound at all. Very frustrating when they fail in the middle of a concert. BTW, I handle my cables very gently.Although they feel reasonable outside, poor quality thin wires are hidden inside. Five failed out of six. I opened two that tested negative for electrical connectivity. Both had very, very thin wires and very poor insulation. After I discovered this, I threw them away, even the one that was still working.
Comments about Hosa TRS-TRS Stereo 1/4" Cable:
I have been using this cable for less than a year as a connection from my Bos ME-50 to a Fender amp, in both live and practice settings. Its now starting to short out on me for no reason at all. I am not abusive to my cables. My buddy who works in a studio says he's had nothing but bad experiences with Hosa cables. The worst thing - the connection from the cable to the TRS connector is housed in a crappy molded rubber piece so you can't open it up to find/fix the short. BEWARE
Comments about Hosa TRS-TRS Stereo 1/4" Cable:
this cable was very good at first. it worked well for about a year and then it doesn't pick up the sound that well. if it had better tips it would be lots better.
