Comments about Humicase Metro Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Case:
Going on tour and bringing your trusty guitar caused me nights of little sleep in ANTICIPATION of having problems, carrying it on and what-not.
I borrowed one of these cases from a friend and from the moment I put my Gibson inside it - my worries slipped away.
Super well made and anxiety lifting.
I flew from Los Angeles, to Istanbul, to Vienna - all around Europe and back. I checked it at the airport and was not scared.
THAT is totally worth it to me. I'm here to buy my own case.
Comments about Humicase Metro Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Case:
The Humicase Metro dreadnought case has a sleek fiberglass shell with a high lustre, metallic finish, six sturdy latches with backplates, and 3 anchor supports for the supplied padded backpack straps. The top & back of the case have a thick plastic seal for better weather protection just be sure to line up the channels when closing. The fit on mine was very good right out of the box. The inside padding is dense, thick foam in deep red. There's good neck support and a string pouch makes up for the tiny stash box under the neck. I was lucky since the headstock is a bit long on my Epiphone but it fits, if a little tight. Feels fairly solid and costs only about 25% as much as a carbon fiber case. Most impressive is the size/weight of this case as it's only a fraction of a typical hardshell. A lot less hassle to lug around, for sure. It's also equipped with 2 Humicase humidifier units & 2 small bottles of solution. There are 5 pointed steel feet on the back but none on the bottom. They also sell gig bags for the cases. I ordered a silver one and it simply looks too cool to hide inside a bag. The only thing keeping my scores from the top is the handle. It's not bad, but it's not great, either. Only time will tell how it holds up. Overall I think this is a well-made product and I hope that this is of help to you.
