A sturdy and plush dreadnought guitar case with two built-in humidifiers.

The HumiCase Protege Guitar Case fits dreadnought guitars and is made of 7-ply hardwood, with a rugged vinyl exterior. The interior is a deluxe padded plush, while the guitar case has chrome hinges and locks. The main benefit of this case is that it has a humidification system built into it: one humidifier above the soundhole and another above the headstock. These keep your dreadnought guitar well humidified and protected against dryness and cracking.

Comments about Humicase Protege Dreadnought Guitar Case:

I'm a luthier, building and repairing guitars and mandolins for Bluegrass, Country and Southern Gospel musicians thru out Tn., Ky., Va. I buy cases to put my new built guitars in and I don't buy junk. I've not got to experience using all of these cases on the road, but I have used quite a few of them. I need at minimum a solid decent looking case to put with my guitars. This case is by far well worth its money and is better looking and sturdier by far than anything you can find for up to double the cost. For the money I don't feel you can go wrong and I have over 48 years combined of musical instrument, Playing, building and repairing experience. And yes, I will buy this case again. For the money, its an excellent choice!

Comments about Humicase Protege Dreadnought Guitar Case:

This case is the new home for my Taylor 210, used every Sunday for leading worship at church. My high quality, yet humidity-sensitive guitar fits perfectly in this sturdy, well designed case. The case's twin humidifier system is ingeniously designed, convenient, and easily maintained with a few drops of water every week or two. No more worries about the effect of our dry autumns and winters up here in the northern Illinois region.

    A decent case

Comments about Humicase Protege Dreadnought Guitar Case:

The case feels sturdy, as does the handle. I am not worried about damaging my guitar while it is in this case. However, the fit is extremely snug on my 1979 Guild Dreadnought - I have to really push to get it inside the case all of the way. Also, the lock does not function (as in, it will not lock). The latches do not line up exactly, but the case will still close with a little force. It also came with a small (~6"x~2"x~4") foam block with velcro on one side, covered in the same material used inside of the case. This block has multiple stains and marks on it and I am unsure as to the use.I cannot speak for this case's humidity control as I have no means of thoroughly testing it.Good:SturdyBuilt-in HumidifierValue (bought during "Stupid Deal of the Day" for ~$50)Bad:Latches don't line up 100% properlyExtremely snug, almost uncomfortably soStrange blockNon-functioning lock

    This is a great idea

Comments about Humicase Protege Dreadnought Guitar Case:

I purchased this case for a custom built solid wood guitar. Humidity where I live is usually about 25%. I also purchased the hygrometer that fits inside the case. The first week I owned the case I would put the hygometer in the case, wait a couple of hours, then check it. Then I would put the hygrometer on the end table in the music room. I would wait a couple of hours and then repeat the process. Outside the case, 25%. Inside the case, 43%. I have now had the case for about three weeks. I checked it inside the case about an hour ago. 47%. If your solid wood guitars live in a dry climate, call this site right now and order one of these. It could save your guitar's life. The only down side is the case is only available right now for Classical/Flamenco guitars and Dreadnought guitars. My 12 string fit nicely in the Dreadnought case (Larrivee L-03R-12E) and I will be buying one of these cases soon for that guitar as well.
