I love this tuner. Most of my gigs are outdoors during the day, fairs, festivals, wineries, street fairs, etc. I have tried several other brands, but the PT-10 is the ONLY clip on tuner that works in direct sunlight. This is VERY important to me! I have 3 of them! Works well indoors on dark stages also, but all the others do also.
I would say good, my first one failed, I sent it back and they sent me a new one. I was sold after that.
Not the cheapest tuner, but for me well worth it.

Negitive: The clip is backwards - difficult to position - tuner has to be positioned behind the head, not on the end or front side - very akward clip. I would not recommend this tuner as configured.

Tuning with stomp boxes takes a year. Tuning by ear, I always seem to veer to the sharp. This tuner just clips on, you set any varation of A440 and quickly, you're there. I noticed it drifts just a little on my ES-335, I suppose because the sound is traveling around in the "F Holes", but I can live with that. Solid body guitars are NO problem. I had hoped it would work with snare drums and electronic keyboards, but it seems to be only for stringed instruments, but that's what I bought it for and it works just great!

If you have a Gibson type 3 tuning keys per side headstock the clip on tuner can be awkward to read and tune at the at the same time. It is adjustable but I had to develop a work around method in order to reach and twist the tuning keys. No big deal just awkward. The original battery didn't last very long and the extra battery that came with it was almost dead. I question the calibration of the clip on unit. The high E string was definitely off when compared to my other Carvin tuner using AC (no battery) power. All the other strings were pretty close. (brand new fresh battery was used with the clip on unit) I like the color change feature...i.e. green = good/in tune...
red = not in tune. I like the simplicity of no cables, no stomp box to trip over, light weight, small, easy to pack in guitar case. I'd give it a C+.

I liked how this one looked, and the Green/Red background for tuning status made it easy to use, but it died after only three months. Checked battery - still good. Didn't have the receipt, so couldn't return it.

90% of my gigs are outdoors during the day. The P10 is the ONLY tuner that you can see well in direct sunlight - I have tried most clip on tuners, and they all work on dark stages, including the P10, but if you play outdoors this is the only tuner I have found that you can see that is clear and bright during the day, even in direct sunlight! 5 stars for me!
On the other hand, they seem to break easily - however the manufacture replaced mine at no cost. I own three.

I would not buy this tuner again. It just not find the notes quickly. The Snark is much better. It does not clip and turn easily for viewing. Odd design.

This tiny tuner is easy to clip on any guitar, bass, violin, etc. it is as easy to use as pressing a button and it's red-green color contrast is great. Allows tuning a solid body guitar or bass with volume completely turned off.

I bought this for my somewhat tone deaf sister for Christmas. She told me that she took it out of the package and clipped it on without reading the instructions.....it worked great! I would recommend this for anyone who struggles with tuning.

I was using the Intelli IMT500 which was not satisfactory. One problem that bothered me the most was, it didn't always register the note and the needle didn't move when I turned the peg. I had to hit the string, guess the amount it was out, turn the peg, then, see how close I got. Particularly annoying with a banjo. And, you know the old joke... How long does it take to tune a banjo? (Nobody knows!) The PT 10 display is very smooth and responsive. Plus, I like that the background light changes from red to green when I'm in tune. Works on electric and acoustic equally well. Even the banjo.
