This speaker provides a major personality upgrade for my Fender SuperChamp XD. The tiny stock speaker breaks up way too quickly and harshly, in my opinion. The "heavier" voices of the SCXD are way more usable now.

I put this in my Fender Super Champ. I've had this amp for about three years. The sound has become muddy. So I started to research a replacement. The C10Q is a great match. It's a little brighter that the stock speaker but can handle the lows much better.

Overall this speaker is a major upgrade over the factory speaker running in my Champion 30. The biggest difference I noticed was in the clean channel, which I went from never using, to using all the time. It can get a little chimey on the treble side but roll down your tone and it will clean up nicely. Great for crystal cleans all the way to gritty blues.
Not many features as it's a speaker, but as far as sound goes it really can't be beat. If you can call great tone a feature, then this things got it.
Very well made speaker. Heavier than the factory one, You can tell Jensen puts excellent care and quality into their less expensive speakers.
Great value. It was either buy a new amp, or spend much less to replace the speaker. You do the math.

Excellent valued very good price
I recently purchased the c10q to replace the speaker in my super champ xd with positive results.
It gave the amp a bigger fuller sound with more midrange and deeper bass response.I highly recommend this speaker for a super champ xd upgrade. One reason why I bought it was because the suggested jensen replacement speaker for the orginal 80's super champ was the c10q speaker.

The "Fender Special Design" speaker in my new Super-Champ XD wasn't doing it for me. So, along with swapping out the stock Chinese tubes for Russian Tung-Sols, put in this Jensen C10Q. The result is later break up and deeper bass. I now love my Super Champ!

I bought this to replace the OEM speaker in my Fender Pro Junior. The amp was great with the original speaker, and with the upgrade to the C10Q, it is even better. The highs are more subdued and the lows are tight and solid. This speaker also breaks up later than the original, which is what I was hoping for. If you are looking for that classic Fender clean tone, this is great choice that won't break the bank.

I bought this speaker to add a little more bottom end to a Fender Frontman 25R. The speaker from Fender was a bit buzzy or flabby on the bottom end. I felt I could drive the bass a little harder as this speaker is rated higher wattage than the original. It was a bit "brown" untill it broke in, break in took about six hours @ modest volumes, but the highs came thru better than the original and it had none of the "ice picks" in the highs.The lows are clean and tight. Delivers the best clean sound that I've heard from a 10 inch speaker yet! I play mostly clean sounds but some greasy blues and I do use it for some distortion sounds. I use this for a bedroom pracrice amp and as a monitor when I perform. This allows me to hear my sound even when I'm behind my main amp. I use a Peavey 50212 Classic for my main amp and I replaced the original "blue Marvels" with Jensen C12N speakers with equally good results.For that "original Fender clean" sound nothing beats a Jensen for me!

I can see why they advertise the C10Q as one of Jensen's most popular speakers. Bought it because a P10R I originally bought as a stock Fender replacement was breaking up too soon for my taste. Well balanced, and handles clean and distortion with equally good ability. Not sure you'd need to look any further considering the excellent value.
