The Jet Slide is the answer for tons of guitarists who would like to add more slide to their playing without completely dedicating themselves to having to use slide through the whole song. It's a great product for the occasional slide player and many more experienced slide players will find a use for it.I have always played slide on my middle finger and the Jet Slide works great on that finger. Make sure and measure your ring size before ordering, its very important to get a good fit!!When wearing, but not using the Jet Slide, it does add some weight to the finger its on, and a little bulk between the fingers. However, its comfortable and does NOT slow you down or impede on your playing...great design there!Transitioning to the slide was easy, I mastered it in less than a minute. If you have the coordination to play guitar well, you have the coordination to transition to the slide. Plus, you can do it fast!I personally love the small bar for playing slide. With bigger slides, its harder to see where the slide is contacting the strings. With the small Jetslide bar, you can position it directly over the frets for great intonation. Fantastic for occasional slide players who may have difficulties sounding in tune with a slide. The only downfall is if the Jet slide rotates too far around on the finger when not playing that it becomes difficult to get to the tab to bring it back around and down on the strings. However, a properly fitted Jetslide will not have this problem, and the weight of the slide tends to hold it in place...but it is possible. Fit is crucial with this, unlike traditional slides where it may be ok to be loose.I don't know enough about slide tone to comment on it. It sounds like a metal slide to me, thats what it is. I like it so much that I might pick up a brass one!As a final note...you can do things with a Jetslide that may be impossible otherwise. I love switching back and forth between slide MID-PHRASE...which is totally possible with the Jetslide. Instead of having "slide solos", you can have "solos with some slide phrasings". Amazing innovation! Best for occasional slide players...everyone will find a use.

The quality of the product appears to be high, which is apropriate because the price is among those most expensive slides on the market. Mine did not fit well, so I am returning it. Musician's friend only carries sizes 8-10-12 and I think I probably need an 11, which the manuafacturer does sell.I think it is an interesting "novelty" slide and might have a use if you really needed your pinky to play notes and slide notes. If you are a serious slide player, you might find a place for this in your toolbox, but I think for most a "regular" slide is probably a better tool for most slide play. I don't care for the fact that it fits between ring and pinky finger, sort of under the ring finger with the pinky up on a tab when playing. I'd prefer that the tab was on the flip side so the bar felt more like it was under my pinky than under my ring finger, and the tab tab under my ring finger. Maybe that is because I am used to a slide on my pinky finger. On the pro side, I think I can see how this would enable more use of the pinky finger to play notes. I found the slide kind of flopped around when playing notes that way, but mine didn't fit snugly enough either. For access to high frets, with a normal round slide you can sort of roll your hand over on edge, with this slide you can't do that - I think high fret access would be a little more awkward with this product. The product had some weight to it, but still kind of felt too light on the strings - I felt like I would have to push down instead of letting the slide do the work. I was playing on a resonator with heavy strings. On an electric, this might actually be a great benefit to have that lighter touch. So again - might be the right tool for some jobs.Overall rating of 3 - an interesting product but not a keeper for me.

Comments about JetSlide Guitar Slide:
If I can use a slide all the way through a song I'll use my glass bottle but for switching between slide and fingering this is the absolute best alternative I've found! I've tried others such as the shy slide, nothing bad about the shy slide but this one blows it away. Took me two minutes to get used to it.

Comments about JetSlide Guitar Slide:
This is a great idea works well for the slide player that needs to chord with all fingers in "standard tuning". Not the same as your favorite glass or metal slide but you can get a good sound out of it both on electrics and acoustic guitars. Every slide player should have one of these.

Oh yeah, this thing is cool! Just takes a little practice and adjustment of the finger loop to get it working correctly. I use mine on my middle finger, using my ring finger to grab the tab and pull the brass bar under my finger for slide work, and then it the pops out of the way instantly as soon as I let go for 4 finger playing. Feels a little odd at first, but you get used to it.

Comments about JetSlide Guitar Slide:
I recently gave my old slide to my grandson. I needed another so I reseached what slides were available. This one seems to be the next logical progression of slides. It allows me to keep it on my finger for slide and use all of my fingers also. Its the best of both worlds! It can be mastered in no time. Contact the manufacturer and purchase a glass cylinder that attaches to it.
Comments about JetSlide Guitar Slide:
This is a great slide especially for it's unique features. Since the slide fits on the finger of your cloice (I prefer middle finger with ring finger and pinky to dampen) and quckly turns out of the way for fingering the neckboard. Plus it is brass which makes the strings ring out with a tone unlike nickel steel or glass slides can. I have only one other slide that does this any better and it is made from 1/8" brass tubing, It weighs a tone but OMG what tonality! This slide produces just about as good a sound as the big brass slide. If you play slide guitar irregularly through a tune or even throughout a set this one is perfect for it's ability to get out of the way when you need it to without needing to stop and take it off. I play Delta style blues on a resonator guitar and it has immediately become my favorite out of a half dozen varieties of slides. Got for the Best! Go for the Jetslide!!!
Comments about JetSlide Guitar Slide:
I just got the "Jet Slide" bar slide and right away learned how to use it. Just slide it over your ring finger made minor adjustment but was ready to jam. Now add slide to songs I never could before.
Just got it but it looks as long as its not in a blender its solid
Could always save money
Comments about JetSlide Guitar Slide:
I got the 10 brass slide. It was quite big and banged around a lot, but it was easy to make it tighter although I'm not that good with tools. Now it fits on my finger quite well. This is a really good slide. It appears to be well-made and can last a long time and I was able to get good sounds out of my acoustic with it.The only design con is that you can't really use your ring finger as well as you would if you didn't wear it. I like it, although I'm not much of a slide guitarist.

Comments about JetSlide Guitar Slide:
I have skinny fingers, so it bangs around a lot. has a kind of scratchy sound when you use it, but it is very cool, and makes plenty of wild sounds.
Comments about JetSlide Guitar Slide:
I've had mine now for about a week--it only takes a few minutes to figure out--a couple more minutes to adjust to your exact size--and then it's just a problem of being able to get it off--all you want to do is just keep playing. I would like it to ber heavier and larger in diameter, to make a better tone on acoustic playing--but it's the only slide I'll use in the future. . .
