This thing is nothing more than a dust cover and something to carry a guitar to and from someplace occasionally if you are willing to be careful with it. It does not protect your guitar from rough handling. If you want to toss your guitar in the back of a van full of equipment, then obviously you need a much more expensive hard case.

Decent enough as long as you don't spend a lot of time on the road. The outer shell seems pretty tough, but there's not a lot of padding. On your way to the gig, don't put it in the back of the truck with your amps and stuff. Put it on the back seat and you'll be fine.

I would not buy another. I would not recomend to a friend. I would return it if it was worth the effort for the 20 bucks but ill use it as a dust cover instead for a bass that sits in my closet unused. I would never use this bag to take to a gig or even to bring to practice, its that cheap and thin.

The padding is so thin, my instrument would be better protected if a wrapped a towel around it.
I cant believe this case has good reviews, its so cheap. I cant emphasize enough how thin the padding is.

I have to admit, when I first saw this case, I was basically considering it to just be temporary but I really like it. Back pack strap, handle and a big pocket were major pluses although the zippers are a bit flimsy to me and I can feel the teeth missing the close mouth sometimes but still, it's very nice for the price and you really can't go wrong.I Use this case currently for a John Moyer signature Traben Havoc 5 string and It fits this bass like a glove. it has perfect length and width to accommodate the lengthy neck and still doesn't get caught on the head. I've also noticed that it nose dives at times but it happens on a bass thats so long. Overall, for the price, you can't go wrong. It's simple, it fits and it works just be expecting to have a backup after a few months or maybe a year, depending on your activity. It's good for playing out IF you know how to take care of it.

This Kaces bass bag is very good. I got it for my Epiphone 4-string, and it fits quite well. It's inexpensive, but still has fairly good padding. It's not extremely tough, but you gotta remember that it's only a gig bag. 5 star!

This is a good, inexpensive gig-bag for your bass. I have a full-size Jazz bass, and it works very well. It's not extremely padded,but it still fits my needs to protect my bass,and help store it efficiently. The zippered pockets are also a plus. Hey-can you really go too far wrong?No,not really........buy it now!
