The only strings I will ever play....last forever, sound great brand new and really old.
KenSmith Rock Masters Medium Bass Strings are the ONLY strings I will put on my bass. I have played Fusion, Jazz, Country, Rock, Bluegrass, Funk . . . almost everything and these strings do it all. They are simply the best!
I've used these string's for about 17 years. I used to use roto sounds and found these strings to have the perfect sound right out of the package. Roto sounds are too twangy and have to dull out. These strings stay in tune with very little stretching. I could change the strings before a show and not have a problem.
I've been using Ken Smith Rock Master mediums for better than 15 years. I've tried all the others, and I always came back. You can't go wrong with these strings. The quality and price are second to none.
By far the best bass strings ever. Super Pro sound
Ken Smith strings are absolutely the best bass strings around. After playing bass for 10 years and using, literally, every string on the market, these strings have been my pick of the litter since the mid 1990s. They're versatile, and able to produce a high-end punch pop for slapping, or warm round tones & high-mid drives for straight-ahead rock or country players. Their brightness lasts longer than any string I've ever owned. Many string makers are actually only made by a few manufacturers, but Ken Smith makes Ken Smith. These are the closest things to Roto Sound for punch and bright, but they don't eat your frets! Rock on Ken Smith!
I bought these strings for my Washburn taurus t14 bass. I am happy with the sound and the action is pretty good for slap play. The Only thing I gripe about is, They don't have the bendeness of the Roto-sound Funk Masters. I changed those 'cause they didn't get enough deepness for my Washburn bass. I'll probably buy Roto-sound Billy Sheehan's signature strings next.
The Only Strings I will ever put on my basses. Nothing can beat the Ken Smith's tone and versatility.
these strings gave me the best tone i have ever had. i have a fender jazz bass, and it sounded like a warwick thumb bass! they are low price and high in qualtiy. i am never buying a different kind of string agian! another cool part is that the tips of the strings are purple. doesn't effect the sound, but it adds some life to the headstock and bridge. great sound, low price. does it get any better?
