The low B string is great sounding, as are the rest of the strings. I've found with some packs of 5 strings, the normal strings are bright, but the B is often dead sounding. Not the case with these. Lots of "metallic" brightness, crisp....good growl. And the price is fantastic. I pay as much for a regular 4 pack of bass strings at local music stores as I did these. i do believe I've found a string to stick with.

The title says it all. I bought these strings early in 2009 and I haven't felt them to have lost enough tone or bounce to replace them. They've been to a dozen shows, countless practices and jams, in Ohio winter cold and Ohio summer hot and humidity and they are still strong enough to compare to a lesser string's tone brand new.If you need heavy gage and want your strings to last forever, you should really buy these. They've served me well.I play in a funk band, jam with a metal band and currently working with a band that does a lot of jam, rock, ska and alternative.

I bought these strings to replace my old bass strings because they were long past due to needing changed. Although I have had these on my bass longer than I had those strings on it, these aren't even hinting at getting old. Great string life, and great tone. Everything else I have, bass and amp, are cheap, but yet these strings make them sound great! Highly recommend if you're a hard player!

Okay, these things are down right amazing! I'm a hard player so I need heavy strings, these work perfectly! My $250 bass and my $5 guitar 10watt amp. sound amazing with these strings. I've had them for a few months now and they're not even hinting on needing changed yet. They feek great, play great, sound great; overall, great. I trust Kerly 100% of the way from these alone!

I put these on my bass mainly because they were few that would fit with being heavy. No regrets though, they sound great on the amp, they play great, and they feel pretty good too.When I first put them on, they had a really bright sound to them (amp takes away alot of that brightness), but now they pretty much sound perfect.Something they failed to boast about was they package their strings in airtight packages, so they're not very oxidized when you buy them giving longer life. Good buy, I recommend if medium is to light for you and you have a five string.
