Full, deep, bass tone tempered by "fire and ice."
Kerly Bass guitar strings are seasoned between -320F and +350F for 24 hours to reduce the micro-cracks that cause tonal loss and premature breakage. Thanks to the repetitive HOT/COLD tempering process, the micro-cracks close up, preventing the buildup of dirt and corrosion. Strength, sound, and string life are enhanced. Made from the finest metals, these replacement strings are crisp, full-sounding, tough, and long-lasting. Thermal Cycling increases tone and keeps your strings sounding new for a longer period of time. No more boiling or using peroxide. Set of 5 light gauge strings.

Comments about Kerly Music Nickel Plated 5-String Bass Strings Light:
I like what they do for the tone when you don't quite want or need all the attack of Stainless Strings but still want enough full body sound for all bass technique applications... "Including Slap"
I put a set of these on my Fender American Deluxe 5 string P-Bass to tame the "clickety/clack" of the brightness inherent in those basses & inhanced by "Stainless Steel strings" They worked like a charm! & still had enough brightness for a full round tone, Good for slapping or finger picking & also using with a pick... Had them on for 3 months now gigging regularly & with proper cleaning they still sound good! Not too shabby I'd say...
I don't know if their the best Nickle Wound Strings out there... But their definantly what I needed & so far their just over 3 months going strong on my Fender P-Bass!
Again very good strings, but "in my opinion" they could be just a little cheaper... "Then again most bass strings could, am I right???"
