Overview
A simple cajon implement to expand the low-end and range of your box.
The CajonPort Sonic Enhancement Port from KickPort brings the celebrated Kickport concept to the cajon for bigger, more dynamic sound. Similar to the way the KickPort works in bass drums, the CajonPort compresses the airflow through its tube and then allows the rapid expansion of the air through its flared opening.
This increases the depth, punch and power of the sound while creating greater distinction between the Cajon's bass and snare sounds. The result is a dramatically less boxy, more versatile and musical instrument, which opens' the Cajon to a variety of exciting new applications.
The CajonPort will fit Cajon's with holes that have a diameter of 4.5" to 4.75". An extra pack of sizing bands will allow the CajonPort to fit a hole up to 5".
