TonePros Kluson K33 guitar tuners are classic 3-per-side vintage style, but with TonePros engineering technology packed into the vintage box. TonePros is first in the industry again with "33s" completely sealed tuner technology applied to the vintage "Press In Bushing" format. This means that these tuning machines do not have the hex bolt around the tuner post of more modern tuners, yet these tuners are uniquely designed with extra post support and are very tight and exact in both tuning directions. 33 series tuners do not require the large hole size of either of the more modern tuners. Instead they use a more vintage-size peg hole which is either a direct retrofit or minimum modification for installation. New technology design improvements include high 16:1 tuning ratio, additional post room for extra string winds, attention to vintage weight and mass, vintage aged Butterscotch Keystone colored buttons, and high performance and quality packed into the original official Kluson name plate. 3 per side, 12/64" shaft size.

When I initially got these tuners they were great. The fit right on to my Gibson Flying V with no problem and the locks worked great. However, as time went on they literally started to fall apart. The ?tulip? part of the tuners (the pearl knobs) started to crack and eventually break into several pieces. If that wasn?t enough, they also started to become really hard to turn and, in some cases, started to slip. When I contacted customer service for Kluson, I was treated extremely rudely and was never allowed to talk to someone regarding an exchange. Don?t just avoid these tuners, avoid the Kluson brand all together. Instead, go with some Schallers, these are the tuners that I replaced the Klusons with. The difference is night and day.

I have Kluson tuners on my ESP and I can say they are the most durable and bad ass around. They totally set off the look of the guitar. I have a complete Tone Pros set up which keeps my guitar in tune and sounding great after several sessions. I highly recommend anything from Tone Pros!

These tuners will not stay in tune no matter what. They aren't nearly as good as the Gotoh keystone tuners.
