Typically you'll find this type of tuner on older '50s classic instruments such as Juniors or Specials. R3 series tuners utilize the classic white round plastic button. For years, many have sung the praises of having the row of 3 tuners connected to the back of the headstock for added resonance transfer. TonePros enhances this tradition with a solid baseplate for each row of 3 tuners.

      Comments about Kluson KR3 Keystone Guitar Tuning Machines - 3 On a Rail:

      These Kluson replacements are higher quality than their original counterparts. Word to the wise though, they will not fit directly onto your headstock as direct swap outs for your original tuners. You'll have to drill and modify the holes to properly fit these tuners. They sound and work great though. The nickel rail creates mass sustain and superior harmonic resonance compared to individual tuners.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
