Comments about K&M 11930.000.55 Orchestra "Overture" Music Stand:
I've used K&M products for years, however the last few purchases have been disappointing compared to the quality I'm use to from them. I like the height adjustment mechanism, thou it needed adjustment out of the box to hold firmly. (There was a hex wrench included for this) The issue I have is with the base. It is a fixed tripod with the leg being somewhat narrow making it less stable than some of my cheeper stands with adjustable legs. I would not use this stand outdoors, I believe a semi-stiff wind could take it over easily.
