Comments about K&M Guardian 5 Guitar Stand:
I was in the market for a 5-banger guitar stand and, since it was Christmastime, decided to splurge and get the Guardian rather than one of the typical lower cost offerings.
Put simply, it is worth every penny and more. This is easily the best multi-guitar stand I have ever encountered. The way it is engineered and built is astounding. The separate recesses for acoustic and electric guitar bodies means your axes are always nice and secure. The special rubber K&M uses for all of the contact points is flexible enough that you never worry about damaging your instruments when you're loading and unloading them.
The stand is rock-solid, yet not very heavy. No assembly required; it comes ready to use out of the box. Finally, the way the stand folds up (you disengage the locking mechanism for the base by pressing down on the vertical posts) is pure genius. Watch the video on K&M's website or youtube to see what I mean. I would whole-heartedly recommend this stand to anyone.
Comments about K&M Guardian 5 Guitar Stand:
I use this stand for a sg, a dot, 2 strats, and an acoustic. I keep them all plugged in because for band practice I switch back and fourth beetween all the guitars and there is more then enough room to keep them pluged in. As I said before each guitar has there own head rest which is better than the bars that are all attached on the other, also the bottom is nice and soft to fit all the guitars nice and they have there own space. I would defiantly get this stand it is the best quality, beilive me for the price it is way better than the others I tried them not as good for gigging as this one
It is a stand, it gets the job done and each guitar falls in play better than the damn 300 dollar stands
Everything is really sturdy and there is a certain restraint FOR EACH GUITAR
This stand is way under priced for its quality. For pete sakes there is a single head rest for each guitar
Comments about K&M Guardian 5 Guitar Stand:
I like everything about it, honestly.
Its not often that a product makes you more productive and able to finish your work more quickly but the Guardian 5 stand from K&M does just that. Quite simply the best multi guitar stand I've ever used, and I've tried them all. Super stable, doesn't take up a lot of space in the room and folds flat for storage when not in use. Doesn't stain your nitro lacquer guitar finish. You can put it right next to you on a session and swap guitars quickly and quietly. No more worrying about the stand tipping over or collapsing. Definitely more expensive than others but in this case you really do get what you pay for. 5 stars to K&M for the Guardian 5. I'm sold, wish I'd bought one years ago.
Highest quality components, built to last. (I think anyway.)
I'm giving it a 10 because it is the last stand you'll ever have to buy. The Mercedes Benz of multi guitar stands.
