OVERVIEW

A music stand light with twin heads that can turn on and off separately, are independently flexible, and each contain four long-lasting LEDs.

The twin-headed music stand light is a fresh design in the Koenig & Meyer lighting product range. The two, extremely flexible goosenecks produce a choice of very focused or very flat light based on whichever you require at each sitting. Each head contains a quadruple pack of LEDs, which can be switched on independently. The latest LED light technology guarantees a bright source of light with a long-lasting lifetime and minimal energy consumption. A handy clip means the light can be attached to music stands or boards with a maximum thickness of 0.78" (20 mm). The music stand light comes with a detachable power unit and a 9.8'-long cable. The whole unit is compact at 6-1/2" x 4" x 2-1/4" when folded and is lightweight at less than half a pound.

Flex it, clip it, focus it, and independently light your sheet music with two heads on one stand when you order today.

I've tried a couple other lights for my music stand, and they either don't light up the entire two-page spread, or they are big and bulky and ugly, or they fall apart after a couple uses.

So far, I've only used this light three times, but it covers well and seems durable. When I got back from my first gig with this light, I had to tell my wife, "I love my new light". She knows how fussy I am about my set-up.

I like that it doesn't use batteries, so I don't have to worry about going dark when batteries run out. I was worried from other reviews that it wouldn't be bright enough, but it's plenty bright - not sure what other reviewers were talking about.

I like the goosenecks, so I can get the light centered on my music stand just perfectly. I like that there are two lights - if one bulb goes out, a single light nearly covers the entire stand, with careful positioning of the gooseneck.

My only concern is how this light will stand up to the abuse I put upon my gear, and if the bulbs last very long and are easy to replace. I'll get back to you in a few months on that. I'll make it 5 stars if it proves to be road-durable.

too big

Did not like this , it was too big and it did not run on batteries. It always needs to be plugged in, which is sort of inconvenient when playing a gig.

Comments about K&M Twin Headed Music Stand Light:

I use it for learning written music for guitar. This light clamps securely to a wood music stand. The previous light I used required C-clamps to hold it in place.

Comments about K&M Twin Headed Music Stand Light:

I needed a light for playing gigs that required reading charts. I have a directors stand that can hold a 3 page chart. The light works great. I plug it in to my surge strip along with my amp. The adapter powers the two headed light. There is enough light so each page is easy to see. At least - I don't have to worry about dead batterers!

Liked the style but was a little dispointed that it can only be pluged into a wall outlet. Good light for whole stand of music.

Comments about K&M Twin Headed Music Stand Light:

These lights are perfect for my venue. I needed another one for my conductor's stand, and my husband accidently ordered the one that was battery only, which is smaller(because the pictures don't show a cord and they look alike). I's come in handy on several occasions, but for the most part, I use two of the corded lights. I especially like the fact that they are so adjustable. I have a pricey light on my piano on which the bulbs are constantly vibrating loose and frequently need replacement. These lights are much more practical. The only con I have is that using two, I need more plugs. Wish they would plug end to end like Christmas lights!

Comments about K&M Twin Headed Music Stand Light:

This is a good light...and I recommend it. The only downside is that you must be near a plug - there are no batteries. The cord length is good, so that's not really an issue. A "nice to have" on this would be two light strength settings. Meaning, each light would have a high and low setting. Currently, you can turn one of and vary light that way, but then you don't get the broad "spray" of light. So having dual settings on both lights would be optimal. Just a suggestion to the company. Still, a very good light.
