All these "professional" drummers stating that they can't hear it when they play while using headphones are rediculous.  Get better headphones.  I use isolation headphones with a 1/8 jack so i can hear while I isolate.

Get better equipment before you try to bash an outstanding name in gear.  Korg always delivers.

I bought this about a year ago and it has held up pretty well, despite being dropped on the floor and coming apart a few times. It has all the basic metronome funtions and performs admirable but there are a few concerns: 1.) The volume control is very touchy and the max volume is not very loud. 2.) If you use headphones in conjuction with this, t try and combat the low volume, the sound only comes through on ear piece and ruins the headphones so you can only hear through on of them no matter what device you use. (I went through three pairs) Overall, it has the basic features of a metronome and is good for the price range, but it will chew up your headphones if you try to use them with it.

Like many, I bought this metronome thinking I got a good deal. Well, I was wrong. Playing on a drum kit along with this thing is next to impossible, as it just does not go loud enough. The quality of the metronome is also very bad. I used mine once, and suddenly it just stopped working. I am going to return it and keep looking. I would not recommend this metronome for the second that it won't tick.

Great Value, But not for Drums

I read a review that this metronome does not work well when playing drums and I have to agree. I use in ear headphones with sound isolation headphones over them, and it is pretty hard to hear the clicks whenyou are playing. It is great for any quieter setting, but when loud volume is not really optional, you really need something witha bit more power. Also, the headphone jack wore out so I could only hear from one ear piece. Whether this is a fault of the metronome or the headphones I can not say for sure.
