This is an affordable capo and as you know... capos are like ink pens and lighters, they tend to change owners rather often. For the price of some capos you own five of these. Some higher priced spring loaded capos don't always press the strings down hard enough and that is why I like this one because of the adjustable thumb screw. At twenty bucks a pop for some capos, I like having more than one instead of a lost high dollar capo. This is a big bang for the buck capo that will do the job and will not let you down. Happy higher register playing!!!

This capo is good if you're on a budget. For lower-priced capos, I still do prefer the standard Dunlop elastic capo. However, this capo is very small so it's easy to bring it anywhere. It does take a little while to setup since you need to tighten it down.

Really the only bad thing I see in this capo is no matter what I try, I get buzzing from the high-E string and to be honest, the construction doesn't look overly sturdy, it looks like it won't take much for the thumbscrew to bend the part that holds the buttom of the neck or for the rivet to eventually pop.

It takes a few extra seconds to install, but it works well, doesn't mar the guitar neck, and you can't beat the price!

Comments about Kyser Pro/Am 6-String Guitar Capo:

This capo does the job of a capo perfectly well. It changes the key with no problems-- no buzzing or other issues.

It's not as quick to change it as some other capos, but it does the job and is affordable. Can't complain.

I use mine on a spare guitar.

I bought this a couple years ago and it's worked fine, I guess. It doesn't fit my Fender strat or my Ibanez but it fits my madeira. You just have to know how to play with it.

Comments about Kyser Pro/Am 6-String Guitar Capo:

I've used old school "rubber band" capos for years, but had not tried the newer styles until purchasing the Pro/Am last month. I shouldn't have waited so long.

This capo is very easy to use, and most importantly, compared to the old "rubber band" style capos, it gives solid intonation, with no buzzing, squeaks, or dead strings. It's simple, it works, and is a great buy.

Comments about Kyser Pro/Am 6-String Guitar Capo:

I have this capo and let me tell you, don't underestimate it. i tried it on my seagull acoustic clear up to the body of the guitar and it does it with ease. the only fallback is the bottom lever&rivit a bit weaker than top. I found that if you keep the thumb screw on top and the open end towards #1-high e, it works great. Just tweek it a little till all strings sound bright, no need to overtighten it. Also, make sure it has a bit of space before the frett. For the price, get a few, take care of it, and it will take care of you.

Comments about Kyser Pro/Am 6-String Guitar Capo:

Well, I got this capo today. It's pretty much your ordinary capo. It is not, however, designed for "quick changes" made on stage. Yes, you have to unscrew it then tighten it back up, blahblahblah, but really it's not a bad capo. My only gripe is that there is a slight bit of buzz. Nothing to serious though. All in all, a good, economy class capo. If you're cheap like me, it's perfect.

The only problem with this is it is a bit time cosuming unscrewing it to change positions. But it works great..totally worth the price.
