Lanikai Hardshell Concert Ukulele Case  

I bought this case and returned it. There is nothing wrong with the case, it just didn't fit my idea of a hardshell case. It's more like a gig bag with support. On the plus side, it has a nice spacious storage bag on the outside and seems like it will get the job done of protecting your uke. Now for the minuses. It has zippers instead of latches like a normal hardshell case. You have to hold the center velcro flap out of the way and unzip like an airline luggage bag to open the top. On the inside, there is a velcro strap at the neck support to wrap around the neck of your uke. It's a good case that will get the job done if you can live with all these steps to get at your instrument. I went and found a traditional style hardshell case and am much happier with it.

Durafoam is probably the best way to make a case. This thing is hard as nails and doesn't weigh anything. Plus it came with straps inside the bag that you can clip onto the metal rings on the outside. Nice. No more worries.
