Love it.
I needed a good case for an Applause ( Ovation ) Ukulele. A few other reviewers said this one would work. IT DOES ! Fits great. Light weight. reasonable price. Now I just gotta learn how to play the Uke !

Overall it's a great case if it fits your ukulele. I would recomend it to others with the caveat of try it on for size. Luckily Musician's Friend is good about returns. I really like the case but it's going back because it just does not fit the ukulele that I bought it for.
The Lanikai standard hardshell ukulele case has great features though not really what I would consider a true hard case. More like a reinforced soft case. The pocket on the outside is a nice touch as are the rings for the included carrying strap and it's extremely lightweight.
Seems to be of good quality however as a previous reviewer stated it's too big inside. There is a lot of wiggle room for my soprano ukulele and my concert ukulele almost fits in it.

This case was ordered for my 55 year old Gretsch uke. It was advertised for a soprano uke like mine. The case I received was much too large for a soprano uke - a concert size did fit. They may have sent the wrong model, but my questions about that possibility went unanswered. Other than that, service from Musician's Friend was great. They offered a hard shell case as a replacement. I accepted the offer even though I preferred this Lanakai case design. The house brand hard shell is well built, and the fit while not perfect is much better.

I bought this case because I could not find any case that would fit my Applause Ukulele. I am glad to report it fits great and has a very firm inner structure that will keep my Uke safe and secure. The case has a nice large zipper pocket on the outside like a gigbag and a small box under the neck for picks and a small tuner.

I got this case for my Applause UAE20 soprano ukulele. It fits really well (I'd read of folks having trouble finding a case to fit the rounded back of the Applause). It also works great for my Bushman soprano. No longer worried about toting my ukuleles about. I'm going to get another one so they each have their own case. Super thick padding inside, nice size "thingy" box inside, and good-size zippered pocket on the outside is very handy to keep tuner in, extra strings, etc. Appears as if it will hold up well for a long time.
