Comments about Levy's 3" Padded Neoprene Strap:
Bought to use with my Gibson T-bird bass. It's very head heavy, and this strap helps a TON! Helps against fatigue. Best strap ever.
Comments about Levy's 3" Padded Neoprene Strap:
Very comfortable. But it is to long for a guitar. I feel maybe they should specify this. Even with it as tight as can be my guitar hangs down to my crotch. Wheres the version with the shorter strap?
Comments about Levy's 3" Padded Neoprene Strap:
This strap can be a double edge sword as your instrument can slide into different positions easily, but can also take a dive if your guitar/bass is neck heavy. Take care if you pack this strap with your instrument as the metal emblem can possibly scratch your finish. Its a bit thick for packing in the pocket of my gig bag. I fold mine over with the emblem facing the back of my case and the leather ends away from the body to protech the finish. Also adds a bit of extra padding to my neck inside the gig bag. IMO I think it looks best with modern looking basses and guitars, and might bring down the classiness of a les paul style guitar or traditional looking bass. Overall, if you are seeking a comfy high quality strap then this is a solid choice.
Neoprene padding is nice and gets the job. I have used this strap with 2 of my basses a Lakland and a Warwick. I compared it to a comfort strap. The comfort strap is more comfortable and lives up to its name, but is also very bouncy. I chose the Levy's neo for its stability. I still feel the weight of my heavier bass, a warwick SSII. I experience minimum temporary shoulder soreness and zero backpain. I would recommend a wider strap if your instrument is really heavy.
I have had this strap a few months now and the quality is excellent. It looks high quality, feels high quality, and functions high quality. The leather ends are very thick and sturdy. Neither of my basses have popped loose while playing.
Great functionality, good construction, and heavy duty. I think its a pretty good value for what you get.
Comments about Levy's 3" Padded Neoprene Strap:
I wore this strap with my Warwick bass for an hour straight before deciding whether I liked it or not. Being a neo' strap I was worried it might be bouncy when moving around. For reference I wear my bass mid-low in the buckle rash zone. I was able to walk around the room while playing and have no major bounce issues. Quality/Durability:The ends are tough leather folded over creating a double thick layer of durable goodness. No worries about it tearing or having my bass fly off unexpectedly. The rings in between the leather pieces are plastic, but seem durable. Given that neo is stretchy and acts like a shock absorber it should not put enough strain to break the rings, although it is possible. It is more likely to break by being stepped on so take care of your gear. Slide-age: There is a little slide action with this strap. If you like the kind of strap that can hold your guitar angle hands free, then stick to the soft leather straps. If you like a strap that can slide like a nylon strap does, then this will work for you. Looks: This strap looks a lot better in person, IMO. Does not take away from the awesome finish of my bass. Does NOT have the cheap look you might expect from a poly type strap. Comfort: I did not experience any back or residual shoulder pain. Nice cushion, very comfortable. Conclusion:This is a pretty comfy strap, seems plenty durable, feels and looks high quality. I would recommend this strap for mid heavy instruments. If your instrument feels heavy then go for a 4" or > width strap. Always good to try straps in person before buying and see what works best for you.
Comments about Levy's 3" Padded Neoprene Strap:
I agree with JoeFree, this really is a great guitar strap. I have a very heavy Ibanez BTB 776pb, and it absorbs the weight of my bass and makes it feel light as a feather. Get this strap, it will increase the your comfort level while playing your guitar and spare you back and your shoulders during those long sets.
Comments about Levy's 3" Padded Neoprene Strap:
One of the most comfortable straps I've ever had. Super soft and rests so easily on the shoulder. All five's from me!
