I am very petite and for once I found a strap that doesn't have to be altered for me to be able to use it!
This strap is way too short! I am a woman and it brought my mandolin right below my neck on my chest! It is not adjustable so there's nothing you can do to lengthen it. It states that it is 40" long, it might be if you attach the shoe-string looking piece that it hangs from on the hang tag.

- Not Functional
This strap is very thin. However, this is what I was wanting but the overall length is too short for me. I am a very tall person and this strap puts it up against by chin almost. Needs to be adjustable for a taller frame person.
I always heard that Levy Straps were good, and so I decided to purchase one because it was relatively inexpensive. When I opeded the box, I thought they made a mistake. The strap was the thinnest and cheapest looking strap I had ever seen. Now, I realize it is to be used with a mandolin, but this was an 1/8 of an inch thick. Really now. I am sending back, and I purchased one from lakotaleathers.com where the strap is nearly 1/2 thick. Nicer designs, and more substantial. Of course more money too. So I guess the old adage applies, you get what you pay for, and for the price, I got just that, an extremely thin, cheap looking strap that made my shoelaces look thicker. Stay away from this product, because you will be disappointed.
No real features, and does not feel very substantial.
Very thin and cheap feeling.
