CAVEAT EMPTOR. These 1/4" dual patch cables are NOT Livewire cables - they are Hosa cables repackaged in Livewire packaging. I had bought these from MF several years back under the Hosa packaging/advertising, and one of the cables went bad recently, so I was hoping to replace my Hosa cables with actual Livewire cables, NOT the same Hosa product. Although the new cables do work, I am concerned that they will fail as the old ones did after a few years. (For reference: I use them to run from my main outs on a V-Drum set into a mixer stereo input, in my studio, so the cables have not been used for gigging and seen any substantial wear/tear.)
In summary, although this is definitely an affordable cable, I would recommend spending a bit more for a higher quality brand.

What I WANT to see in a connection cable is decent construction; solid connections, consistent insulation, good flexibility and perfect fit and function. The Live Wire patch cable I got fits all these criteria and it the ideal fix for me with the size, color coding and price I desire. Good buy.
I was using a Zoom GFX-8 multi-effects pedal to output to two small practice amps for playing guitar and when my son bought me a Boss Loop station I wanted to minimize the clutter of cords so I bought this Live Wire patch cable. I am not a wiring specialist by any means so I was apprehensive that I might get the wrong thing, but this cable worked perfectly. It is the right length to reach comfortably, but not clutter and there was no detectable difference in the sound quality. I am glad I could put another pedal in-line and not pick up any hiss or static; in fact I have no issues at all with this product. I will use Live Wire again if I need to because the quality seems fine and the price is reasonable too.
I like fancy, shiny stuff with cool logos and seamless construction and nice "heft"; these aren't like that, they are basic cables with solid construction and sensible design that do just what I need them to do.
Good price, good quality and the perfect solution for my needs. That means value to me.

Used these for a while with no issues until I plugged them into an M-Audio Fast Track. You have to pull really hard to get your plugs out of those devices and the tips came off the cables. Nice price, but be careful.
